We
have been at the Lion for over 29 years and during this time have built
upon our reputation so that we now successfully accommodate over 130
tours per annum. We
presently have 46 en-suite rooms, 34 within the hotel and 12 additional
rooms in the Castle View Cottage. We pride ourselves upon the standard
of food, service and bedroom facilities we offer our guests.
Criccieth
is very fortunate to face due south on the North West Wales coast and
being so sheltered gains more than its fair share of good weather. It is
an excellent base for touring both Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsular,
and is a particularly good base for 'Little Trains of Wales' themed
holidays - details of which are enclosed.
The
Lion Hotel itself offers a glorious pink restaurant, two comfortable
bars, an elegant lounge, an entertainment area with a dance floor plus a
stage and a very pretty garden. We have ample parking facilities of our
own for coaches and there is also a large municipal car park within 200
metres. Our restaurant can be utilised for lunches etc for day
outings.
